The Friends of the School is a group open to all parents, caregivers and community members who wish to get involved with helping the school in some way or another. They fundraise, do working bees around the school and support the students and school in a positive way.
In the past the Friends of the School have improved the playground for the children, supported Senior students who travelled to Top of the South Area Schools Tournament, Solar Heated the swimming pool, run community night fundraisers (an 80’s night) and run Movie nights for students and other events to raise money for ‘extras’ around the school for the students.
This year, 2023, Rai Valley Area School will host the Top of the South Area Schools Tournament. We will be putting word out for volunteers to help make this a success.
All volunteers must be police vetted as per school policy.
